During the 2nd ODI today in Mirpur, 19-year-old Mustafizur continued from where he left off in his debut game on Thursday (June 18). After his match-winning 5/50 in 10 overs, Mustafizur was back again to torment the Indians. (Rain rules for the series)

Today, at the same ground, he had figures of 6/43 in 10 overs as India were bowled out for 200 in 45 overs. Bangladesh cantered home by 6 wickets (Duckworth/Lewis method) for their first-ever series win over India. Mustafizur won the Man-of-the-match award again.

He is the first bowler in history to take 11 wickets in opening 2 ODIs. The match was reduced to 47 overs per side due to rain. (Dhoni, Mustafizur fined)

Also, Mustafizur is only the 2nd bowler in ODI history to take 5 or more wickets in the opening 2 games of their careers. The other bowler being Zimbabwe's Brian Vitori (5/30 and 5/20 against Bangladesh in August 2011 in Harare).

Mustafizur dismissed Rohit Sharma for a two-ball duck in the opening over of the match after India captain MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to take first strike.

After 1/32 in his 5-over first spell, Mustafizur returned to send back Suresh Raina, Dhoni, Axar Patel, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja to set the record.

As in the 1st ODI, here too he had 2 wickets in 2 balls, getting Dhoni and Patel off successive deliveries in the 40th over. Ashwin kept out the hat-trick ball.

In the 1st game of the 3-match series, he had Raina and Ashwin off consecutive balls. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had averted the hat-trick.
