The T20 World Cup 2024 Match 3 between Namibia and Oman was a cliffhanger and went to the Super Over.
Oman defended their paltry score of 109 runs brilliantly as Namibia could only match Oman's score at Barbados. This was only the 3rd Super Over in the history of the T20 World Cup, and only the 4th tied match in the ICC tournament.

The match was also the first super over in the T20 World Cup since 2012 and only the 2nd T20I super over on Caribbean soil.
Previously, the T20 World Cup saw two Super Overs, both of which came in the T20 World Cup back in 2012.
New Zealand vs Sri Lanka in Kandy was the first-ever T20 World Cup super over. Both teams scored 174 runs in that match and the match went to the Super Over. In the end, it was the home team Sri Lanka who won the Super Over.
Super Over Score: Sri Lanka - 13/1 beat New Zealand - 7/1
West Indies and New Zealand also witnessed a Super Over in that same edition of the T20 World Cup. West Indies were bowled out for 139 runs and the Kiwis could only manage to match the Windies score in the run chase. In the end, West Indies won the Super Over by 2 runs.
Super Over Score: West Indies - 19/0 beat New Zealand - 17/0
Oman and Namibia were locked to a score of 109 runs as the former defended their paltry score. The match went to the Super Over and Namibia won it in a canter. The African side scored 21 runs in their Super Over and Oman couldn't cross their lines.
Super Over Score: Namibia - 21/0 beat Oman - 10/1
In the T20 World Cup, the only tied match which didn't go to the Super Over was a match between India and Pakistan. In the 2007 edition of the T20 World Cup, the tied match between India and Pakistan went to a bowl-out. India won the bowl-out 3-0 on that day.
