National Stadium Stats and Records: The venue in Karachi, which is the home to the Pakistan national teams, the Sindh cricket team and PSL side Karachi Kings, has hosted several historic and high-profile matches over the years.
The National Stadium, one of the four host venues during the Champions Trophy 2025, will first host a match in the eight-team ICC event when Pakistan play hosts to New Zealand in the tournament opener in a Group A match.

The venue, which was recently renovated and upgraded to be deemed fit to stage the big tournament, will next host Afghanistan and South Africa in a Group B match before the final game in Karachi sees the Proteas face England.
The venue has hosted as many as 115 international matches so far and many Pakistan Super League as well as domestic matches over the years. The venue has also served as host to six ODI World Cup matches – three each in 1987 and 1996.
