National Women Cricket tourney from Aug 5

Lucknow, July 7 (UNI) The Sub-Junior National Women Cricket tournament is being hosted by Uttar Pradesh Women's Cricket Association from August 5 to 13 in Meerut.

The tournament would be played on three grounds on league-basis, association general secretary Mohd Nawab said here today.

At least 18 teams, including the UP team, would participate in the event, he informed.

On July 25, the Association's team would be selected at the K D Singh Babu Stadium here.

Besides, a camp would also be held in Lucknow the same day.
