Nepal Premier League 2024 Prize Money: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a total prize pool of Rs 2.01 Nepali Rupees (US$150,000) for the first edition of NPL.
As per the announcement, the inaugural champion of the tournament will be awarded Rs 1.1 Crore Nepali Rupees (US$82,000), while the runner-up will take home Rs 51 Lakh Nepali Rupees (US$38,000).

Apart from the finalists, teams finishing in third and fourth place also will receive prize money. The team finishing third takes home Rs 25 Lakh Nepali Rupees(US$19,000), while the fourth ranked team receives Rs 15 Lakh Nepali Rupees (US$11,000) as prize money.
It is believed that the top four teams battling in the playoffs will split the prize money based on where they finish in the tournament, however, the social media post, which announced the prize money does not disclose how the third and fourth place prize winners will be decided.
At the end of the league stage, Sudurpaschim Royals finished as table toppers with 12 points followed by Janakpur Bolts, who ended with 10 points after the 7 round robin matches.
Chitwan Rhinos pipped Karnali Yaks to take the third place based on better Net Run Rate (NRR) after both teams finished on eight points each alongside Kathmandu Gurkhas, who settled for a fifth-place finish.
While Sudurpaschim Royals and Janakpur Bolts will battle for the big prize in the final on Saturday (December 21), it is unclear how Chitwan Rhinos, and Karnali Yaks' prize money will be decided.
The Rhinos finished the league phase in third, but lost the Eliminator against the Yaks. So, there is no clarity on what the two teams take home, having exited the tournament already. Rhinos bowed out in the Eliminator, while the Yaks crashed out in Qualifier 2 against the Bolts.
