Nepal Premier League 2024 Results on December 19: Janakpur Bolts see off Karnali Yaks by 2 wickets in the thrilling NPL Season 1 Qualifier 2 clash at the TU International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur on Thursday (December 19).
Chasing a low target of 119, Janakpur Bolts made tough work of the task at hand as Karnali Yaks pushed the crucial clash all the way into the penultimate over of the contest.

An all-round bowling effort helped restrict the Yaks to 118/9 in their 20 overs. In response, Jimmy Neesham smashed 45 off 17 balls to put the Bolts in the driver's seat, but the New Zealander fell to 16-year-old Bipin Sharma, allowing the Yaks in the contest.
In the end, however, Sher Malla (16* off 10 balls) and Mayan Yadav (14 off 18 balls) shared an important stand of 19 runs to see the team home and into the title clash against Sudurpaschim Royals.
Earlier on Wednesday (December 18), Karnali Yaks had registered a 21-run win over Chitwan Rhinos in the Eliminator match to enter the second qualifier, while the table-toppers Sudurpaschim Royals reached the final with an 8-wicket win over Janakpur Bolts in the first qualifier.
