New Zealand open their Group C campaign against an upbeat Afghanistan in match 14 of T20 World Cup 2024 at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence, Guyana on Friday (June 7).
Kane Williamson-led New Zealand will to avoid any upsets coming into the tournament with no warm up matches, while Rashid Khan’s Afghanistan is fresh from a 125-run victory over Uganda in their group stage opener.

Afghanistan will aim for a win which could give them a big push over West Indies and New Zealand in the two spots for the Super 8s from the group that also includes Uganda and Papua New Guinea.
