Nicholas Pooran was on Tuesday (August 1) named in the West Indies 15-member squad for the T20I series against India starting August 3. The 27-year-old batter missed out on the ODI leg due to his commitments for MI New York in the inaugural season of Major League Cricket (MLC).

On the night of the final in the MLC 2023, Pooran smashed unbeaten 137 runs off just 55 balls (10 fours and 13 sixes) to help MINY chase a 184-run target in just 16 overs.
