As the result of the General Election 2024 is rounding up, India is witnessing a different horizon of people's mandate. But taking aside the politics, a certain name is hovering around social media for all the switching reasons, Nitish Kumar.

Nitish Kumar is an Indian politician who hails from Bihar. The veteran politician was the former Chief Minister of Bihar and a highly popular name in Indian politics. Apart from his distinct political career, Nitish is known for his switches to alliances.

In the recent Lok Sabha Election, Nitish Kumar was part of the INDIA alliance, but in the midway, left the hands of the Indian National Congress and joined as Bharatiya Janata Party ally with the NDA. In the last decade or so, this was Nitish's fifth switch from one lobby to another, which sometimes is a subject of memes and trolls among netizens.

And in a hilarious way, a recent finding in the T20 World Cup 2024 has brought one co-incidental similarity in light.

Nitish Kumar: USA Cricketer who switched from Canada

USA and West Indies are hosting the T20 World Cup this year, the former as the first-time host of an ICC tournament. Amid the players of USA, one name has garnered such interest on social media, whose name is Nitish Kumar.

Although Nitish Kumar is just a cricketer, one particular thing has raised eyebrows among netizens. Nitish is currently playing for USA in this World Cup. But the very same player represented Canada in the ICC World Cup 2011, the 50-over tournament which India won on Indian soil.

Nitish, then only a teenager, played a few games in the World Cup as well. He scored 1 against Zimbabwe in a match and scored 2 runs in the next match against Pakistan. But he switched his allegiance to USA later and is now representing America in this T20 World Cup.

Although Nitish Kumar, the cricketer has no connection with his namesake politician, people have been making a buzz about the USA cricketer stating that the name Nitish Kumar holds the switching tendency itself.
