Watching the match from the stands at the MCG, he was brought to tears as Nitish reached the milestone of his maiden Test century.

In a thrilling 115th over, with India down to their final wicket, the defining moment unfolded as the Andhra Pradesh all-rounder achieved his first Test century. His remarkable knock, featuring 10 boundaries and a six, earned him well-deserved accolades as he basked in the glory at the iconic MCG in Melbourne.

Nitish's father was seen praying from the stands so that his on could achieve his maiden hundred and when he actually got to the 3-figure mark, he was over the moon and was seen getting reduced to tears as years of hard work has finally paid off.

For the unversed, Nitish's father did a lot for his son so that he could play at the highest level. He sacrificed his job and retired 25 years early, so that he can gave his full attention to his son. For years, he took him to training and gave all the facilities he could despite financial conditions.
