Mumbai, February 5: India U19 captain Prithvi Shaw said on Monday that he has no words to describe his feelings and thanked everyone for supporting the team throughout the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2018, which they won by beating Australia.

"I don't have the words to express what I am feeling I just want to thank everyone for keeping their trust in me and the team. It is all about the kind of experience you garner over the years, tend to make a difference in the way you play at the top level," said Shaw in the press do to mark the return of victorious India colts.
Shaw also recollected a few nuggets from his budding days and thanked all for helping him in his journey.
"It wasn't easy for me as I used to stay in Virar (Mumbai) and I thank my dad for taking me everywhere. Those were difficult days but when you work hard to get something it is very satisfying," he said.
India coach Rahul Dravid too showered encomiums on the team and said the boys were matured way beyond their years and happy to see them wearing the winner's medal.
"The real satisfaction is about the whole process that was followed in the last 15-16 months. The planning and preparation of developing players is a good process we have put in place. I feel proud for these boys as they get to wear a World Cup winner's medal
"I just played one U-19 series and when you compare that to the kind of support these boys have got both on and off the field is huge. These boys are way more fitter and confident and more worldly wise and that shows in the way they perform," said Dravid.
