No more night-outs for Team India: BCCI

By Super Admin

Kanpur, Nov. 15 (ANI): The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Sunday said that Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Team India would not be allowed to go on night-outs during the Test series again Sri Lanka without informing security officials.

"It is worrying that cricketers have been going out on their own, risking their security. We have asked the team management to make it clear to them that they are not allowed to do so without informing relevant officials." BCCI spokesperson Rajiv Shukla said.

Shukla was referring to the incident in Mohali where Dhoni Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh, left the team hotel without informing the security officials about where they were headed.

"They should inform security officials where they are going, so that necessary arrangements can be made for ensuring their safety," Shukla said.

Shukla, who was in Kanpur to take stock of the preparations for the second Test, expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements.

"I am happy with the arrangements and hopefully the spectators will enjoy a good game," he said. (ANI)
