NPL 2024 Results on December 18: Sudurpaschim Royals entered the NPL Season 1 final after an 8-wicket win over the Janakpur Bolts in the Qualifier 1 at the TU International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur on Wednesday (December 18).
Chasing 140, Dipendra Singh Airee-led Sudurpaschim Royals chased down the target with 9 balls to spare thanks to Binod Bhandari's unbeaten knock of 58 from 55 balls and a trio of handy contributions from the other batters.

Opting to bat first in the first Qualifier, Janakpur Bolts were helped to 139/9 in their allotted 20 overs, riding on James Neesham's 45 off 23 balls after Royals skipper Dipendra Singh Airee had claimed the best figures of 3 for 29 in his four overs.
Although they lost the Qualifier 1, Bolts get a second shot at making the final as the second-placed team of the league stage will face the winner of the Eliminator in the second qualifier on Thursday (December 19).
Earlier on Wednesday (December 18), Karnali Yaks rode on Jaykishan Kolsawala and William Bosisto's fifties as well as a quickfire unbeaten 46 off 23 balls from Chadwick Walton to seal a 21-run win over Chitwan Rhinos in the Eliminator match.
