Pakistan cricket and their nadir moments keep on coming as Khushdil Shah is the latest in the act, this time with their own fans in the New Zealand tour.
In the 3rd ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand, Pakistan suffered a defeat and ended their tour in a poor fashion. But along with that, an off-field act has grabbed the headlines as all-rounder Khushdil Shah was involved in a heated altercation with their own fans.

Following Pakistan's 43-run defeat in the third ODI at Mount Maunganui, Khushdil Shah was involved in a heated altercation with spectators.
Eyewitnesses reported that certain Pakistan fans directed abusive language and anti-Pakistan slogans towards the players as they were leaving the field. Khushdil, who was not part of the playing XI for that match, confronted these spectators and, in a moment of frustration, attempted to breach the barricades separating players from fans. Security personnel and team officials intervened promptly to prevent the situation from escalating further but the player was adamant to get involved in a fight with the fans.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued a statement condemning the behavior of the spectators and emphasized the importance of maintaining respect between players and fans. The PCB also assured that measures would be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
But the incident with the fans is not the solitary time when Khushdil has grabbed the headlines for the wrong reasons in the tour.
Earlier in the tour, during the first T20I in Christchurch, the Pakistan player was penalized for an on-field incident involving New Zealand bowler Zakary Foulkes. In the eighth over of Pakistan's innings, while attempting a run, Khushdil collided with Foulkes, making significant shoulder contact.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) deemed this act as a Level 2 breach of its Code of Conduct, citing it as "inappropriate physical contact with a high degree of force, which was reckless, negligent, and avoidable."
He was fined 50 per cent of his match fee and was also handed three demerit points. Pakistan ended their tour with a defeat, thus losing the three-match ODI series 0-3. Earlier, they had also lost the T20I series 1-4.
