Kane Williamson scored an unbeaten century as New Zealand beat South Africa by 7 wickets in the second Test to seal a series white-wash at the Seddon Park in Hamilton on Friday (February 16).
Chasing 267 in the fourth innings, Williamson scored 133 not out off 260 balls, sharing a 152-run stand with Will Young (60 not out off 130 balls) to seal the seal the series 2-0 on day four of the Hamilton Test.

Williamson reached his 32nd ton in the longest format, which saw him go level with Australian duo Steve Smith and Steve Waugh in 11th for most hundreds in Test cricket. He is also on top of the list with Smith for most Test centuries among active cricketers.
While Williamson tops the list for most Test hundreds by active cricketers, the former New Zealand Test captain is 11th in the overall list, which is topped by legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who has smashed 51 hundreds in the longest format.
This was Williamson's sixth Test hundred against South Africa, his most against a single opposition and also his sixth Test century in his favourite venue of Seddon Park in Hamilton.
Earlier in the Test, opting to bat first, Ruan de Swardt's 64 and his 77-run stand with Shaun von Berg (38) rescued South Africa from a spot of bother to a total above 200, with the Proteas finishing at 242 all out.
The visitors, however, put the match in the balance as Dane Piedt's five-wicket haul bundled out the hosts for 211, ensuring a slender 31-run lead for South Africa, who were then bowled out for 235 thanks to William O'Rourke's 5-wicket haul, setting a target of 267 for New Zealand.
