Kapil Dev, 1983 World Cup-winning captain has sent a heartfelt message to current skipper Rohit Sharma, praising his performance and urging him to stay positive despite India's loss in the World Cup final. Kapil expressed his admiration for Rohit's skills and assured him of India's support.

In the final at Narendra Modi Stadium, Rohit's aggressive start with 47 off 31 balls set the tone, but a remarkable catch by Travis Head and Maxwell's spin ended his innings.

Kapil, taking to Instagram, encouraged Rohit, stating, "Rohit you are a master at what you do. You have a lot of success awaiting you it's tough I know but keep your spirits up. India is with you."
