Sachin Tendulkar's side got the better of Yuvraj Singh's team as legends returned to action for a noble cause in the One World One Family Cup held at the Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium in Sathya Sai Grama, close to Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport on Thursday (January 18).
After Yuvraj-led Team One Family rode on a fifty from Darren Maddy to post 180/6 in 20 overs, Alviro Petersen smashed 74 off 50 balls to power Team One World led by Tendulkar to a 4-wicket victory.

Defending 7 in the final over, Yusuf Pathan bowled to Irfan Pathan, who got Team One World across the target with 1 ball to spare with a six to end the innings unbeaten at 12 from 5 balls.
Tendulkar also looked in good touch with the bat as the icon hit 3 fours and 1 six before being dismissed by Muttiah Muralitharan for 27 off 16 balls.
Tendulkar shared a 31-run opening stand with Naman Ojha before another 41-run stand for the second wicket with Petersen, who shared a crucial 59-run stand with Upul Tharanga (29 off 20 balls) in the run chase.
For One Family, Chaminda Vaas (3 for 46) was the top wicket-taker of the match, Yuvraj, Jsaon Krejza and Muralitharan claimed 1 wicket each in the innings.
Earlier, Maddy scored 51 off 41 balls, while Yuvraj (23 off 10 balls), Yusuf Pathan (38 off 24 balls) and Romesh Kaluwitharana (22 off 15 balls) also played cameos in the One Family innings.
For One World, Harbhajan Singh (2 for 30) was the pick of the bowlers. Former England spinner Monty Panesar, India pacer Ashok Dinda and Tendulkar also claimed a wicket each.
