Islamabad, May 14 (ANI): Pakistan cricket team, which will take on Australia in the semifinal of World T20 Championship, has only two graduates.

Pakistan's National Assembly was informed on Friday that cricketer Misbah-ul-Haq is the sole postgraduate player in the cricket team while the team has only one graduate.

The Ministry of Sports told National Assembly that Misbah holds degree of MBA and he is the sole post graduate while the team has six inter pass, six matric pass and one middle pass player.

Fawad Aalam holds a degree of B.Com, Abdur Razaq, Abdur Rehman, Muhammad Sami, Muhammad Hafeez, Salman Butt and Shahid Afridi are intermediate.

While Umer Akmal, Saeed Ajmal, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Aamir, Khalid Latif and Kamran Akmal are metric pass. Hamad Azam is middle pass, The Nation reports.

The not so educated Pakistani cricketers will be fancying their chances of making it into the final of the tournament for the second consecutive time in a row.

Speaking over telephone from St.Lucia, Pakistan team manager Yawar Saeed said the mood in the dressing room is upbeat and players have vowed not to repeat their past mistakes.

"They (players) needed a bit of confidence and they got that with their victory against South Africa. Now the team has attained a level where it would not be easy for any side to beat us," Saeed said. (ANI)
