Operation Sindoor: Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina Lead Cricket Fraternity To Hail Indian Army's Air Strikes On Pakistan Terrorist Camps
Operation Sindoor: The strikes targeted key areas such as Muridke and Bahawalpur, which are known bases for terror outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, respectively.

These strikes, executed at 1:44 am, were conducted as a retaliatory measure following the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Anantnag district of Jammu & Kashmir. That attack claimed the lives of 26 individuals - 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen.
Confirming the operation, the Ministry of Defence issued an official statement, noting that the missile strikes were aimed specifically at terror infrastructure "from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed."
The Ministry emphasized the controlled nature of the mission, stating: "Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution."
The whole country is ecstatic after the successful operation of the Indian Army and former cricketers in Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina showed their support and sent their acknowledgment of the huge success of the Armed Forces.
Here's a look at their reaction
''Dharmo Rakshati Rakshata. Jai Hind ki Sena 🙏🏼 #OperationSindoor'', Sehwag wrote on X (Dharma protects those who protect it).
''#OperationSindoor #JaiHind'', Raina shared on the internet.
Former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir, who is the coach of the Indian national cricket team, on his X handle hailed the Indian Armed Forces for their heroic action.
"Fearless in unity. Boundless in strength. India's shield is her people. There's no room for terrorism in this world. We're ONE TEAM! Jai 1 Hind," posted former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
More than 80 terrorists were eliminated in a series of coordinated precision strikes carried out by the Indian armed forces on terror camps situated in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) according to top security officials. Senior sources revealed that the most significant hits occurred in Bahawalpur and Muridke-both known strongholds of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), respectively.
Each of these two key locations reportedly saw the deaths of approximately 25 to 30 terrorists. In Muridke, the operation targeted Masjid wa Markaz Taiba, the ideological hub and command centre of the LeT, often referred to as Pakistan's "terror nursery."
While intelligence agencies are still working to confirm the exact number of casualties at the other impact sites, preliminary figures estimate that between 80 and 90 terrorists were killed in total during the strikes.
