Out-of-favour Yuzvendra Chahal and Prithvi Shaw hang out with social media star Orry and his friends in UK

By MyKhel Staff

Out-of-favour India cricketers Yuzvendra Chahal and Prithvi Shaw partied hard with social media sensation Orry in the UK. The pictures of the two star cricketers with Orry went viral on social media.

Chahal and Shaw are in the UK playing for Northamptonshire in the County Championship and One-Day Cup. Apparently, the duo made use of their free time and went out with Orry, who is known to live a colourful life.

Orry himself posted a video on his Instagram handle in which he was seen lifting Yuzvendra Chahal on the side of a busy street. "Hai musculars, spectaculars, populars he’s a bachelor," Orry captioned the video.

In the video, a girl can also be heard asking Prithvi Shaw also to lift Chahal. The opener denies by saying, "Nahi, nahi. Chance hi nahi hai. Pagal, wagal ho! (No, no. There is no chance. Are you guys mad!)."

Yuzvendra Chahal and Prithvi Shaw India career in disarray

On the cricketing front, Yuzvendra Chahal has again been dropped from the Indian cricket team. He was part of India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad, but did not play a single match. His last outing for India came back in August 2023.

On the other hand, 24-year-old Prithvi Shaw last played a match for India back in July 2021. The right-hander is unlikely to be retained by his IPL team Delhi Capitals (DC) ahead of the 2025 mega auction.

Northamptonshire vs Gloucestershire match called off due to unfit pitch

The County Championship Division 2 match between Northamptonshire and Gloucestershire was called out due to an unfit pitch in Bristol. Gloucestershire were bundled out for 125 in 36.1 overs, and Northamptonshire were batting on 116/2 at Tea when the match was called off. Prithvi Shaw scored 39 off 37 balls, while Chahal bowled one over for nine runs and no wicket.
