Chandigarh, Oct.15 : Australia is likely to play the second Test against India without fast bowler Stuart Clark, who is nursing an injured elbow.
After complaining of elbow soreness during the first innings of the first Test in Bangalore, Clark was limited in his bowling and forced to make under arm returns from the boundary.
He delivered a testing spell on the final day of the match but he will be rested from training on Wednesday before testing the elbow at the team's final pre-Test session on Thursday.
According to Fox Sports, Clark will not bowl at training tomorrow.
"We want to maximise his recovery and give him the best chance to be able to play on Friday," team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris was quoted as saying by Fairfax newspapers.
"We will see how he pulls up and if he feels ok we will play him."
