In complete contrast, Pakistan picked only one wicket with spin bowling as pacers did the job. The second ODI will be played on Thursday.

Previous best was by 110 runs vs Sri Lanka at Paarl in 1998 (got bowled out for 249, then bowled out Sri Lanka for 139). A five-wicket haul for Haris Rauf as Afghanistan are bundled out for 59. A length ball again as Mujeeb swings his bat only to give a catch to Naseem at long-on. Maiden five-wicket haul for Haris Rauf for Pakistan. Best bowling figures by a pacer in Hambantota and in a Pakistan vs Afghanistan ODI. Shadab Khan strikes in his first over and removes Abdul Rahman who tried to go for a maximum but ended up top-edging the delivery over mid-wicket. An east catch for Zaman Khan. Pakistan a wicket away from a massive win. Omarzai smashes a boundary over Usama Mir's head and then decides to leave after feeling uncomfortable. He was seen holding his side. Rashid Khan clean bowled this time for a 2-ball duck by Rauf. The off-stump flying. Rashid left bamboozled by Rauf's pace and movement.
Afghanistan: 48/7 in 15.5 overs Haris Rauf cleans up Rashid Khan with a 146kmph delivery. pic.twitter.com/rfRvJhgTCT Afghanistan 48/6 after Mohammad Nabi depart for seven. Length ball again from Rauf. The shot was there to be played but the the ball stopped after landing on the surface and Nabi was early with his shot. Easy catch for Salman at covers. Afghanistan five down now. Pace is Pakistan's answer to Afghanistan's spin. Haris Rauf gets the big wicket of Gurbaz. Kisses the edge of the bat as he tried to block the in-swinging delivery. Rizwan does the rest of the job. Afghanistan: 35/5 in 13.3 overs. Naseem Shah to Gurbaz and the ball hits the right-hander on his pad. Umpire raises his finger but a review is after suggestion from Nabi. The replays show ball going over the stumps. Haris Rauf introduced in the 8th over and he strikes on the very first delivery. Ikram departs for four off nine. A good length delivery which rises to chest height and goes between Ikram's bat and body, also taking a faint edge in the process and Rizwan takes a good catch. Afghanistan 4 down for 18. A short ball from Naseem Shah this time. 140.3 kmph. Shahidi very late on the pull as Shadad Khan takes an excellent catch while leaping in the air with his left hand stretched at square leg. Afghanistan NO.2 , 3 and 4 - all gone for a duck. Afghanistan three down for four runs. This does not at all look like a slower surface now. Shaheen Afridi could not take a hat-trick but just one run from the second over. His bowling figures after two overs read - 2-1-1-2. Captain Hasmatullah Shahidi played a dot ball to deny him a hat-trick. Two in two for Shaheen. This one a full-toss and Rahmat Shah ends up playing it straight into the hands of Salman at mid-wicket. Shaheen on a hat-trick. Not in the first over, but Shaheen strikes in the second over. A short delivery does the job as Zadran departs for a six-ball duck. A miscued pull shot and an easy catch for Salman. Afghanistan one down for three in 2.4 overs. Afghanistan bowls out Pakistan in ODI for first time in history. Rahmat Shah gets his first wicket by trapping Haris Rauf in front of the stumps. A review is taken but no relief again. Naseem Shah remains unbeaten on 18. Stunning display of spin bowling from Afghanistan. Just one wicket to pace bowling. Afghanistan need 202 to take a 1-0 lead. A delivery from Farooqi flicked towards deep square leg. Naseem says no to a double as Shadad is already midway through the pitch. He runs back but a direct hit from Mujeeb ends his stay. Mujeeb compensates for his two dropped catches with a stunning run out. Pakistan nine down. 32-run partnership off 44 balls between Shadab and Naseem. Pakistan 195/8 in 46 overs. Nadeem is unbeaten on 16 off 24, while Shadab has scored 37 off 48 balls. Shahad Khan and Naseem Shah have now partnered for 13 runs off 26 balls. Some sloppy fielding by Afghanistan fielders. They have been poor on the field today. Pakistan look to go past 200. Rashid Khan gets his second wicket. Shaheen Afridi clean bowled. A quick delivery again and Shaheen could just stand there timidly on the back foot and do nothing. Absolute carnage from Afghanistan spinners. Mujeeb Ur Rahman strikes on the first ball of his 9th over. Quicker through the air and too good for Usama Mir who is castled for 2 off 3 balls. Pakistan seven down now. Can they put 200 runs on the board? Through the defenses! Nabi strikes for the second time and Imam finally runs out of luck. The safe hands of Rashid Khan this time at mid-on. Rashid looks in pain after the catch but Imam departs for 61 off 94. Pakistan: 152/6 in 35.5 overs. Here's how Mohammad Nabi got the best of Imam Ul Haq for 61 as Rashid Khan took a stunner. 👊👏#AfghanAtalan | #AFGvPAK | #SuperColaCup | #ByaMaidanGato pic.twitter.com/H9qOxUHh0m Imam takes the aerial root and tries clearing the deep cover boundary but the timing isn't good. However, Omarzai drops a sitter and the batters run three runs. Mujeeb unlucky again. His wait for third wicket continues. Pakistan: 142/5 in 33 overs. Shadab Khan hits one straight over Rashid's head for a cracking boundary. Shahad recovers from it and gives away just two runs off the remaining five deliveries. Fifty off 78 balls. Just two fours and 37 dots. A gritty innings from the southpaw. The entire dressing room including Babar Azam acknowledges the effort from Imam. 17th fifty of his career and 2nd one versus Afghanistan. His slowest ODI fifty. The job is not done for him yet. Pakistan: 131/5 in 31 overs. Opener Imam-ul-Haq has emerged as the biggest positive for Pakistan so far. He has looked rock solid and has managed to kept going from one end. Recently, during an interview, he opened up on how he dealt with nepotism tag during the initial phase of his career. This is heartbreaking! Imam doesn't deserve this, he averages 51 in ODI cricket with 9 hundreds in just 59 innings in the format. Unbelievable 😔 Pakistan now five down for 112 in 28 overs. Mohammad Nabi strikes. This one stops on to Iftikhar as he ends up giving a dolly to Shahidi. A very soft dismissal, Iftikhar stands sill in disbelief. He departs for 30 off 41. 50-run partnership off 69 balls comes to an end. 100 runs up for Pakistan with a double from Imam-ul-Haq on the first ball of the 26th over from Nabi. The partnership between Iftikhar and Imam inching closer to 50. Imam-ul-Haq looked to take the aggressive route against Nabi but the ball goes up in the air after hitting the toe-end of the bat. Cpatain Hashmatullah Shahidi gives it his all but fails to grab the tough chance. Pakistan: 91/4 in 24 overs. Imam: 37* off 60. 168th ODI wicket for Rashid on the second ball of his 90th ODI match. Brainfade moment for Salman? No shot offered as the ball turns back in and he is trapped in front of the stumps. After being dropped for one, Agha Salman could managed just 7 runs off 29 balls. Pakistan four down for 62. Rashid Khas has come to bowl the 17th over. He has 167 wickets to his name in 89 matches. Mujeeb bowl his sixth consecutive over and gives away just three runs this time. 17 from his six overs. Rashid Khan is yet to bowl an over.
