PAK vs AUS: 'Sun Glasses are not to wear at the back of cap' - Pakistan fielder trolled for dropped catch

PAK vs AUS: Pakistan fielders were once again trolled for their ridiculous fielding efforts on Day 1 of the first Test against Australia at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

Pakistan bowlers were at the receiving end of some very fine batting display by Australia, and the team's fielding group just added to their miseries. David Warner, who slammed a hundred, was dropped by Khurram Shahzad just after reaching his hundred and he even survived a stumping chance when Sarfaraz Khan failed to collect the ball properly.

But the lowest point of the Pakistan fielding unit came when Abdullah Shafique dropped an absolute sitter to dismiss Australia opener Usman Khawaja. The ball went flying up in the air after a top-edge from Aamer Jamal, Shafique completely misread the ball which remained in the air for quite some time.

The ball passed through his hand and fell on his chest before touching the ground. Pakistan fans were highly disappointed with the Abdullah Shafique dropped catch, and they vented their frustration on X.

On the back of a solid hundred from David Warner (164), Australia ended their Day 1 on 346/5 in 84 overs. Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith and Travis Head chipped in with 41, 31 and 40 wickets respectively.

The hosts finished their first innings at 487 on Day 2 after a splendid 90-run knock off 107 balls from Mitchell Marsh. Aamer Jamal picked six wickets, Khurram Shahzad picked two wickets, while Shaheen Afridi and Faheem Ashraf picked a wicket each.
