PAK vs AUS: Pakistan cricket team had a mixed day on Day 3 of the second Test against Australia in Melbourne as it squandered an initiative of bundling out the hosts for cheap in the second innings. Among the moments that stood out was a one-handed blinder by Agha Salman on the second slip to dismiss Shaun Marsh at 96.
Agha Salman took the diving catch of Shaun Marsh in the 50th over off Mir Hamza's bowling during Australia's innings while the batter missed out on a well-deserved century. Australia finished the day on 187/6, stretching their lead in the second innings to 241.

At one stage, it looked like Australia won't be able to put a competitive target on the board as they had four wickets for mere 16 runs in the post-lunch session. However, a 153-run stand between Steve Smith and Mitchell Marsh had the hosts in a good position with two days to play in the second cricket test against Pakistan.
Smith clawed his way to his first half century since the Ashes earlier last year. The effort was also his second-slowest half-century ever. Earlier, Australia had taken a 54-run lead in the first innings thanks to a 10-wicket haul from captain Pat Cummins.
However, Pakistan recovered from the innings break to remove Marnus Labuschagne for five and Usman Khawaja for a duck, leaving Australia two wickets down for just six runs at lunch with an overall lead of sixty.
After taking two wickets late in the second day of the Boxing Day test to turn the tide in Australia's favor, Cummins finished with statistics of 5-48 on Thursday morning. In response to Australia's 318, Pakistan's overnight score of 194-6 was removed for 264 thanks to significantly more resilience than was anticipated from its tail.
Spinner Nathan Lyon, a spinner, provided Cummins with a lot of support as he bowled a spell of 4/73. Pakistan are attempting to win their 16th straight test in Australia.
