The first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh remains halted due to wet outfield. The match was supposed to start around 10 am local time on Wednesday (August 21) but it hasn't yet started.
The first Test of the two-match series was shifted to Rawalpindi due to renovation work in Karachi, but the rain overnight caused the match to start late, which is scheduled to start at 2 pm local time now in Pakistan.

Amid the disrupted start, a photo has gone viral on social media, which claimed Pakistan players were forced to do groundstaff work. In the picture, a number of people can be seen working on the ground after the rain, and a social media post claimed it to be Pakistani players.
"Look at Pakistan's international Players situation.. PCB made them ground staff. Shameful Act by Pakistan Cricket Board. You can't ask players to dry pitch," a post on X read.
Several other X handles then circulated the image claiming it was Shan Masood and his team working at the pitch, which truly would be a massive blunder by the PCB. Although none of the faces of those men are clear, people on X and other social media started claiming they were Pakistani players.
MyKhel can confirm that the above claims are fake and not right at all. No Pakistan players were forced to clean the ground at the Rawalpindi Stadium, rather the people in the picture are actual ground staff personnel at the stadium.
