Pakistan versus Bangladesh Asia Cup 2023 match on Wednesday was halted momentarily after a flood light stopped working at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The incident happened after the fifth over of the second innings as Pakistan were chasing a 194-run target.
As one of the floodlights stopped working, players walked off the field and fans switched on their mobile phone torches. Pakistan players sat in the dug-out, while Bangladesh players went back in the dressing room as on-field umpires and the groundsmen had a chat.

The technical glitch was resolved and the play resumed after a gap of 15 minutes. While such incidents have happened in the past as well, fans did not miss the opportunity to troll the Asia Cricket Council (ACC), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistan as a nation in general.
Here are a few of the fans' reactions as floodlight failure stops play in Lahore.
Earlier in the match, Bangladesh were bundled out for 193 in 38.4 overs after electing to bat first. Haris Rauf picked four wickets for 19 runs in six overs, while Naseem Shah picked 3/34 in 5.4 overs. Pakistan have bundled out their opposition in each of the three matches in the Asia Cup 2023 so far.
Captain Shakib Al Hasan (53 off 57) and Mushfiqur Rahim (64 off 87) scored a fifty each for Bangladesh in the inaugural Super Fours match.
