PAK vs ENG: Pakistan were officially knocked out of the World Cup 2023 after England crossed the 102-run mark in match number 44 of the World Cup 2023 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday, November 11.
Babar Azam's Pakistan either needed to win the match by a 287-run margin while batting first. However, England marred that plan as Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bat first.

England piled up 337/9 in 50 overs to set a 338-run target for Pakistan in their last league match of the World Cup 2023. Pakistan had to chase down the target in 6.4 overs (40 balls).
Even a six on each of the 40 balls would have taken them to 240. However, 30 runs for the loss of two wickets is all Pakistan could score in the period.
As a result, New Zealand have qualified as the fourth and final semi-finalists of the World Cup 2023. In a recap of 2019 semi-final, India will again clash against New Zealand. The match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday, November 15.
Australia and South Africa will go against each other in the second semi-final which will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday, November 16.
