PAK vs NZ: Pakistan will host New Zealand in the second ODI at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday, April 29. Pakistan won the first ODI at the same venue by five wickets. The Babar Azam-led side chased down a 289-run target with nine balls to spare.
Fakhar Zaman scored a hundred for Pakistan, while the likes of Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan also chipped in with hand contributions. Daryl Mitchell smashed a hundred for New Zealand and opener Will Young also looked good in 78-ball stay for 86 runs.

A total of five matches will be played in the series. The preceding 5-match T20I series ended in a 2-2 draw. The rain-marred fourth T20I ended without a result.
Pakistan and New Zealand locked horns in a 3-match ODI series earlier this year in January. Visitors New Zealand won the series 2-1. However, with the key New Zealand players unavailable due to their IPL 2023 commitments, Pakistan have a great chance of avenging themselves.
The same was expected in the T20I series as well, but New Zealand did a tremendous job by bouncing back from 0-2 deficit and levelling the series 2-2. The pressure will be on the full-strength Pakistan squad to beat the second-string Kiwi side. The matches also hold importance considering the upcoming ODI World Cup in India.
