Pak cricket team 'hopeful of triumph' in UAE series against England

By Super Admin

Lahore, Feb. 15 (ANI): The Pakistani cricket team has left for Dubai to play two Twenty20 against England on February 19 and 20.

The team left from Allama Iqbal International Airport here on Sunday morning.

The Squad includes: skipper Shoaib Malik, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wicketkeeper), Imran Nazir, Imran Farhat, Fawwad Alam, Khalid Latif, Umar Akmal, Shahid Khan Afridi, Abdul Razzaq and Saeed Ajmal.

The Daily Times quoted manager Yawar Saeed as saying that the players were not solely responsible for the poor show on Australian tour, but the team management was equally guilty.

However, he vowed to get rid of weaknesses during the UAE tour, as the team's morale was sky-high.

"I am hopeful for Pakistan's triumph on the tour," he said. (ANI)
