Pakistan A have won the toss and elected to bat first in the first semi-final of the ACC Men's Emerging Cup in Colombo on Friday. The league stage saw Pakistan A finish second behind India A. They won two of their three matches. India A beat them by eight wickets in their third match.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, topped Group A which included Bangladesh (second), Afghanistan and Oman. Sri Lanka won two of their three matches. Afghanistan defeated them by 11 runs in their second match.

Pakistan have qualified for the Emerging Asia Cup final with a 60-run win over hosts Sri Lanka. Iqbal completes his five-wicket haul with a perfect yorker which cleaned the stumps of Samarakoon. Sri Lanka A bundled out for 262 in 45.4 overs. Pakistan will now face the winner of the ongoing second semi-final between India A and Bangladesh A in the mega final on Sunday.
