In cricket, the retirement age is a bit later compared to other team sports. The players generally hang up their boots after reaching three and half decades of their life.
But shockingly, Pakistan teenager Ayesha Nassem has announced her retirement from cricket. It came as a major shock to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as the teenager let the board know about her decision of leaving cricket.

The 18-year-old was born in Abbottabad and made her debut in 2020 for Pakistan and is known for her power hitting. Her ability to clear the fences deemed Naseem as one of the brightest future prospects for Pakistan.
Naseem, who has been part of the Pakistan women's team's terrific resurgence, has played in 30 T20Is and 4 ODIs. She has 369 and 33 runs in those formats respectively.
But her statement to PCB on Thursday was stunning as the payer revealed her reason to leave the game.
Ayesha Naseem sent her statement to PCB on Thursday (July 20) which depicted the reason for her retirement.
She is reportedly leaving cricket to live a much more religious life in accordance with Islam.
"I'm leaving cricket and want to live my life according to Islam," Naseem told in a statement to PCB.
It has created shockwaves across the borders and Pakistan women's cricket may have missed out on a budding and bright prospect of their nation.
