Pakistan's World Cup 2023 campaign has ended in an underwhelming manner as they exited from the group stages.

It was a dismal performance from Pakistan as they managed to finish 5th, thus exiting from group stages for the third time in a row. Since their unceremonial exit, the criticism across Pakistan has risen big time, while a section of ex-players and fans have demanded the resignation of Barbarasam from his captaincy.

Despite their forgetful campaign, the Pakistan Cricket Team will earn a significant amount of money from the World Cup.

Pakistan World Cup 2023 Prize Money: How much money Pakistan Cricket Team will receive?

ICC had earlier announced that each group stage win will be awarded with $40,000 and teams exiting from group stages will be awarded with $100,000 more.

Hence, the Pakistan Cricket Team will earn $260,000 from their World Cup 2023 campaign, $160,000 from their group stage victories and the remaining $100,000 for their group stage participation.

The financial influx is a significant boost for PCB as it is around PKR 73695388 (more than 7 crore). This is a decent income for the Pakistan board despite their World Cup blues.

What will other teams earn?

The teams advancing to the semifinals will earn $800,000 excluding their group stage wins. The World Cup winning team will be awarded $4 million, whereas the runners-up team is set to get $2 million in prize money.
