With the Test series already lost, Shaheen Afridi would now be focussing on Pakistan's 5-match T20I series against New Zealand starting January 12.

Bowling all-rounder Sajid Khan and top-order batter Saim Ayub have been brought in the Pakistan playing eleven for the third Test in Sydney. On the other hand, Australia captain Pat Cummins announced an unchanged playing XI for the final match of the series.
