As many as eight international Pakistan stars will be playing in the upcoming Ramadan tournament in Pakistan, which is set to be held in the coming weeks.
The Ramadan Tournament 2023 is an exhibition cricketing tournament, which will be played in Lahore this year as a celebration of cricket during the month of Ramadan.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam will be taking part in the tournament. Babar, who is currently rested for the ongoing Afghanistan series, is set to feature for one of the eight teams. Apart from Azam, Shadab Khan, Ihsanullah, Usama Mir, Azam Khan, Usman Qadir, Umar Akmal, Ahsan Ali and Abid Ali will also feature in the event.
The event will consist of 8 teams, and there can be a maximum of 2 international players in each team. A private cricket institute is organising the tournament and former Pakistan captain Salman Butt is the chief organiser.
The Ramadan tournament will be played in Lahore.
"Such a tournament is taking place in Lahore for the first time," Butt said during a press conference on Friday (March 24).
"This event will unearth new talent as well," the former Pakistan opener added.
The schedule of the event will be announced later and the player of the matches will receive PKR 30,000 each match (around INR 8725).
