Pakistan will be touring Australia for a 3-Test series after the 2023 World Cup in India, Cricket Australia (CA) revealed on Sunday. Australia 2023-24 home summer will kick off with the first Test against Pakistan in Perth from December 14.
Immediately after the conclusion of the 2023 World Cup in November, the Australian team will remain in India for a bilateral white-ball series before returning home to clash against Pakistan.

The Pakistan team will be playing their first Test in the Western Australia capital since 2004. The match will be their first in the new Perth Stadium. Pakistan suffered a 491-run defeat at the WACA Ground in Perth in 2004.
The Babar Azam-led team will then lock horns with Australia at the Boxing Day Test at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) from December 26. The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) will host the third and last Test from January 3.
Pakistan last toured Australia in 2019. Australia whitewashed the Asian team 2-0. Australia toured Pakistan in 2022 and clinched the 3-Test series 1-0. The tour will be an opportunity for Pakistan to settle the scores.
Further, Pat Cummins' side will host West Indies for two Tests, three ODIs and three-match T20I series. The West Indies tour will start with the first Test in Adelaide Oval from January 17. It will conclude with the third T20I at the Perth Stadium on February 13.
West Indies toured Australia in 2022-23 as well. They lost the two-Test series 2-0. Australia's men's team then travel to New Zealand for a series of two Tests and three T20Is, as per the FTP.
