The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced Pakistan's squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025.
The ICC tournament is being hosted by Pakistan as the opening match will be on February 19 between Pakistan and New Zealand.

PCB, who was mulling over the announcement of the squad, became the final team to name the team for the upcoming tournament. Mohammad Rizwan is set to lead the side while Salman Ali Agha has been named vice-captain.
Young batter Saim Ayub has not been named in the squad as he is currently recovering from an injury. Fakhar Zaman, one of Pakistan's members from the Champions Trophy 2017 winning team is also named for the Champions Trophy. PCB also simultaneously named the same team for the tri-nation series, starting from February 8.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 marks the tournament's return after an eight-year hiatus and is set to take place in Pakistan, starting February 19th. As the host nation and defending champions, Pakistan will compete against seven of the world's best teams to retain their title. Along with the squad, PCB also announced the full list of support staff, who shall be with the team in the tri-nation series and Champions Trophy.
PCB also named a star-studded coaching staff for the Pakistan team, which are comprised of former players. Former pacer Aqib Javed is going to be the interim head coach, while Azhar Mahmood is set to assist him.
