Pakistan players are in Kolkata as they prepare for their final World Cup 2023 group-stage match on Saturday (November 11) against England.
Babar Azam and his troops have resurrected their World Cup semifinal hopes with a stunning victory over New Zealand in the last match. The rain-marred match in Bengaluru has renewed their zeal and Pakistan have a decent chance to make it to the last four.

Although their fate hinges on the result between New Zealand and Sri Lanka, the Pakistan team seemed in a relaxed mood at the City of Joy on Tuesday. The team had a nice day off from the training and they spent the day in a light mood.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam, along with coaches Morne Morkel, Grant Bradburn, and an additional member of their team chose to engage in some golfing action. They made their way to the Royal Calcutta Golf Club in Kolkata, recognized as an eminent golf hub, around 9 in the morning and relished an unhurried match till 2 in the afternoon.

Eight of their team members decided to visit the South City Mall in South Kolkata. But their plan had to be changed and the players instead visited the Mani Square Mall in Salt Lake, which is nearer to the hotel where the Pakistan team is staying.
Abdullah Shafique, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Mohammad Haris, Agha Salman, Zaman Khan and Usama Mir were among the players who visited the mall and bought sarees and shirts from the local stores.
The Pakistan team also had a plan to watch a movie, but that was cancelled and the players instead watched the Afghanistan match in the evening.
If Pakistan qualify for the semifinals, they will stay in Kolkata and face India in the knockout match at the Eden Gardens.
