Pakistan is likely to invite India for a bilateral T20 series in a neutral venue in 2025, as per reports.
Amid the Champions League conundrum, reports in Pakistan say that PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi would speak with BCCI secretary Jay Shah at the ICC meeting in Colombo.

The PCB is firm on not relocating the Champions Trophy matches outside Pakistan. However, they are open to hosting a T20I series with India at a neutral venue. This discussion will be a significant part of the ICC annual conference agenda.
A PCB source mentioned, "The proposal will be discussed during the meeting of Mohsin Naqvi with Jay Shah (BCCI secretary), with matches potentially scheduled during the free days of both teams after the Champions Trophy."
Concerns have been raised by the Indian government and BCCI regarding security and political issues, which might prevent the Indian team from travelling to Pakistan. Despite this, Pakistan has assured that all Champions Trophy matches involving India will be played in Lahore, with the Indian team staying in one hotel throughout the series for security reasons.
But the proposal to play a T20 series can be a significant development in the dynamics of the two countries. India and Pakistan haven't played a bilateral series since 2012 and this can be a huge development. But the decision for India playing the series may depend on government clearance.
But if the two boards try to materialize bilateral cricket in a neutral venue, there are a few destinations to exercise that.
UAE: The middle-east has often been Pakistan's home during the banned period and India won't have any issues either to play there. Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi are familiar to Indian players as it has hosted IPL in past seasons as well. Also the fan following for both countries is significant and that will ensure jam-packed encounters.
USA: The craze for the India vs Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup was amazing. Hence the boards can also host the flagship series on USA soil. Although it will be a logistical dilemma, the USA can be an option.
England: Another very promising venue is England, which has always been supportive of India and Pakistan. If the two boards plan a bilateral series, the ECB may not have any problem with that and a T20 series can be hosted across the venues in England.
