Pakistan will be touring New Zealand for five T20Is and three ODI matches in March-April next year, supposedly after the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The schedule for the bilateral series will clash with IPL 2025 matches.
The IPL has traditionally kicked off in the last week of March, and the ODI series between Pakistan starts only from March 29 and concludes on April 5. Key New Zealand players part of the IPL are very likely to miss the ODI leg in that scenario.

New Zealand's second-string team toured Pakistan for a five-match T20I series during the IPL 2024. Pakistan fans and players criticised the likes of Kane Williamson and Trent Boult for prioritising IPL matches over national duty.
New Zealand Cricket revealed their summer schedule on Wednesday (July 18) and also informed that they will also host Sri Lanka for three T20I and three ODI matches each in December-January.
As announced before, the home summer season for New Zealand will kick off in late November as they host England for a three-match Test series. The first Test will kick off from November 28 in Christchurch.
