Group A winners Pakistan will lock horns with Group B runners up Bangladesh in the first Super 4 clash of the Asia Cup 2023 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan on Wednesday (September 6).

Shakib Al Hasan's Bangladesh, on the other hand, bundled out Afghanistan for 245 after setting a target of 335 in their most recent match. In their tournament opener, Bangladesh were bowled out for 164 and in response Sri Lanka chased down the target with 11 overs to spare.

This will be Bangladesh's second match of the Asia Cup 2023 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, where Pakistan, the home side, will play their first match at the venue in this tournament. But the hosts possess a brilliant record in Lahore, where they have won 33 of 54 matches.

Bangladesh, meanwhile, will play their eighth game in Lahore, where they have thrice, including the victory over Afghanistan last week. This will be the final Asia Cup 2023 match at the venue, which has seen two full matches so far.
