As the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 approaches its final group stage matches, Pakistan is set to face Bangladesh in a Group A encounter on February 27 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Both Pakistan and Bangladesh are already out of the Champions Trophy and the match will be a mere academic one. As they lock horns in Rawalpindi, both teams will be aiming to secure a victory and end their campaign on a high.

Pakistan's campaign has been impacted by injuries, most notably the loss of opening batter Fakhar Zaman. Fakhar sustained an oblique injury during the match against New Zealand, which has ruled him out for the remainder of the tournament. In response, the selectors called up Imam-ul-Haq as his replacement. With the final match being a dead rubber, Pakistan may give chances to some of their new players.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, is grappling with the absence of key players. Veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was left out of the squad and the Tigers have faltered in the tournament big time. They may bring a couple of changes in the final match as well.

With the teams already eliminated from the tournament, the excitement around the match is far less than other matches in the Champions Trophy. Pakistan have looked feeble in this stone and losing against New Zealand and then getting comprehensively outlast against India. On the other hand, Bangladesh showed a little bit of fighting despite losing both of their first two matches as well.
Bangladesh now checking on Pakistan in the final match. The home support may well be there for Muhammad Rizwan and company, but the Tigers will believe that they can cause an upset and get a result. Although the route to the semifinals is blocked for the two teams, Pakistan have the better personnel in the team and we reckon they will end their campaign with a victory.
