Pakistan's World Cup 2023 campaign starts with a match against Netherlands, which is set to be played on Friday (October 6) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
The 1992 World Cup winners are back in the Indian soil after seven years and they will have victory in mind. Netherlands, on the contrary, has a team which may not have high expcetations, but they can surprise any side on their day.

Pakistan don't have any injury issues ahead of the first match. They will be missing the pace of Naseem Shah, as the youngster injured himself and is not in the World Cup squad.
Netherlands also have a full squad available as they prepare to face the Pakistanis in this huge match.
Pakistan will be hoping to field a strong lineup as they face the Dutch in Hyderabad. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will be their batting pillars, while Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf will spearhead their pace attack. They may include two spinners in Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz in the team.
Netherlands will be hoping to name a strong squad as well. The likes of Wesley Barresi, Roelof van der Merwe are likely to be in the team, as Scott Edwards looks set to lead the team in their World Cup 2023 mission. Bas de Leede is one of their young and exciting talents and with his abilities in bat and ball, the 23-year-old is certain to be in the Dutch lineup.
