Pakistan will lock horns with Sri Lanka in the second and final test of the 2-match series from Monday, July 24 at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo. Pakistan won the first Test by four wickets on the back of a first innings double hundred from Saud Shakeel in Galle.
Having opened their World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 campaign with a win, Pakistan would be aiming to seal a 2-0 win in the series. During the same time last year, Pakistan had to settle for a 1-1 draw after Sri Lanka won the second Test by 246 runs.

There are high chances of rain on the opening day of the second Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the capital city of Colombo. "Cloudy; a couple of thunderstorms around in the morning followed by a thunderstorm in parts of the area in the afternoon," AccuWeather has predicted.
The precipitation level on Monday in Colombo will be as high as 80 percent. The humidity would also go up to 80 percent. The wind speed will hover around 18 km/h.
There is a chance of a delayed start due to morning rains. Rain has also been predicted for Day 2 and Day 3 as well. Sinhalese Sports Club last hosted a match in November 2018.
