Day 2 of the second Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka could see only 10 overs of play at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo on Tuesday. Rain kept pouring in the ground since the morning.
After bundling out Sri Lanka at 166 in the first innings, Pakistan had to hold themselves at 178/2 in 38.3 overs. Hasan Ali was the only one who made the most of the conditions by sliding and enjoying on the covers used by the groundsmen.

A few thunderstorms are on the cards on Day 3 as well. AccuWeather has predicted a thunderstorm around 11 AM and 3 PM. Rain predictions have been made for the period around 5 PM as well. Cloudy and overcast conditions will remain throughout the day with a high temperature of 29-30 degree celsius. Humidity level in Colombo will hover around 83 percent.
With eight wickets in hands, Babar Azam's Pakistan would be aiming to pile up some quick runs to give themselves a shot at winning the second and the series 2-0 as rain has already wasted a day's play.
