Pakistan and Sri Lanka lock horns in a virtual semi-final when they clash in the fifth match of the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four stage at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Thursday (September 14).
Both Babar Azam's Pakistan and Dasun Shanaka's Sri Lanka head into the match on the back of defeats to India, who clinched the final spot on Tuesday (September 12).

Pakistan and Sri Lanka, who had opened the Super 4 campaign with victory over Bangladesh, will now look to seal the other final berth. Pakistan have made five changes to their line up, while Sri Lanka may retain the same team that almost pulled off a win over India.
The matches at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo have also been affected by rain with India vs Pakistan match needing a reserve day to complete, while Sri Lanka vs India match was interrupted due to a spell of shower. The same could be on the cards today when Pakistan face Sri Lanka.
