Pakistan Women will be taking on Sri Lanka Women in the semifinals of the Asian Games 2023 on Sunday (September 24).
The two giants of Asian cricket lock horns in the huge match in a bid to make it to the Finals of the coveted continental tournament. This is the 3rd time cricket is being played at the Asian Games.

Pakistan Women have a terrific record at the Asian Games as they have won Gold Medals on the last two occasions of the tournament. Sri Lankan women, on the other hand, claimed the Bronze Medal at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.
Pakistan-W and Sri Lanka-W will be taking on in the Asian Games 2023 semifinal on Sunday (September 24).
The match will be played in Hangzhou and will start at 11:30 am IST/ 11 am PST/ 11:30 am Sri Lanka Time.
The two teams started their tournament from the quarter finals stage.
Pakistan's quarterfinal clash against Indonesia Women was washed out without a ball being bowled, and Pakistan by default qualified for the semifinals.
Sri Lanka Women, on the other hand, beat Thailand Women in a rain-curtailed 15 overs affair (all the matches are in T20 format) by 8 wickets. Thailand scored 78/7 in their quota of overs, which the Lankan women chased down with more than four overs to spare.

** Inoshi Priyadarshini picked up 4 wickets in the quarter-final match against Thailand women. Anushka Sanjeewani scored 32 runs with the bat, while the Lanka women captain Chamari Athapaththu also scored 27 runs.
The match between Pakistan Women and Sri Lanka Women will be telecast Live on Sony Sports Network from 11:30 am IST/11 am PST on Sunday.
