Amid the violent unrest going on in Bangladesh, former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has alerted the Indian government against people hoping for a Bangladesh-like scenario in the country.
In a dramatic turn of events on Monday (August 5), Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina flew to India as mobsters stormed into her residence and carried out an act of vandalism.

Reports have emerged that China and Pakistan's ISI are behind the unrest in Bangladesh to nurture anti-India terror groups. PM Sheikh Hasina's son had also alleged the role of ISI, and vowed that her mother would never return to Bangladesh again.
"India, be cautious: Some inside your nation are hoping for a Bangladesh-like scenario. Guard against those trying to incite unrest for their own agendas," Danish Kaneria wrote on X.
Minority Hindu population is being attacked in Bangladesh, and videos showing the extremist groups attacking temples have also surfaced. Kaneria urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene and help out Hindus in Bangladesh.
"I urge @PMOIndia to intervene immediately to protect Bangladeshi Hindus. We must not abandon our brothers and sisters to the hands of extremists. #SaveBangladeshiHindus," he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
As per a report by Bangladesh's Daily Star, houses and business establishments of Hindus were attacked by mobs and their valuables were also looted in at least 27 districts.
An ISKCON temple in Meherpur, located in Bangladesh's Khulna division, and a Kali temple were vandalised and set on fire.
"One of our ISKCON centres (rented) in Meherpur was burnt, including the deities of Lord Jagannath, Baladev, and Subhadra Devi. Three devotees who lived in the centre somehow managed to escape and survive," ISKCON spokesperson Yudhistir Govinda Das tweeted.
