Punjab Kings (PBKS) retained a total of 17 players ahead of the IPL 2024 mini-auction scheduled to be held in December. India internationals Shikhar Dhawan, Arshdeep Singh, Rahul Chahar, Jitesh Sharma, and Rishi Dhawan have been retained by the franchise who are still searching for their first title.

Punjab Kings have also retained their overseas stars Matthew Short, Sikandar Raza, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, Nathan Ellis, and Kagiso Rabada. Shahrukh Khan is a surprising omission from the PBKS retained list.
