Punjab Kings (PBKS) will look to get back to winning ways when they host a lowly Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match 22 of IPL 2025 at the New PCA Stadium in Mullanpur on Tuesday (April 8).
Shreyas Iyer-led PBKS are fresh from their first defeat of the season – a 50-run loss against Rajasthan Royals in their first outing at home, while Ruturaj Gaikwad’s CSK head into the match on the back of their third straight loss – a 25-run defeat against Delhi Capitals in Chennai.

Punjab Kings, who had beaten Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants to open thei campaign, fell to Jofra Archer’s fiery burst and managed to get to only 155 in response to RR’s 205, the highest IPL total at the Mullanpur venue.
CSK, on the other hand, failed to chase down 184 against DC at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, where their top order failed to deliver, asking too much from the middle and lower middle order to do in the final 10 overs.
Both PBKS and CSK will aim for wins whey they clash for the 31st time in IPL and first time in Mullanpur. Here is a look at the head to head record of PBKS vs CSK IPL 2025 Match 22:
