Punjab Kings will look to keep playoff hopes alive when they host Delhi Capitals in match 64 of the IPL 2023 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala on Wednesday (May 17) with the match set to start at 7:30 PM IST.
Playoff hopefuls PBKS led by Shikhar Dhawan will look to carry their winning form as they eye a top four finish, while bottom-placed DC led by David Warner will aim to bounce back and end the season on a high.

PBKS opened their season with back-to-back wins over Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, but suffered two successive losses before going on mixed run of 4 wins and 4 defeats in the last 8 matches with their most recent result being a victory over DC in New Delhi.
DC, on the other hand, opened their campaign with five successive defeats, but responded with four wins in five matches to get into playoff contention. But all those hopes ended following back-to-back defeats in the last two matches, including the home loss to PBKS.
In the reverse fixture that took place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi last week, PBKS rode on Prabhsimran Singh's maiden IPL hundred and Harpreet Brar's four-wicket haul to seal a 31-run victory that kept them alive in the intense playoff race.
The two sides will now clash for the second time this season at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala, where several players including DC pacer Ishant Sharma and PBKS batter Bhanuka Rajapaksa, have a chance to reach milestones or break records.
► Arshdeep Singh (Punjab Kings) will make his 50th appearance in IPL.
► Rovman Powell (Delhi Capitals) is 54 runs away from completing 3000 runs in T20 Cricket (overall).
► Bhanuka Rajapaksa (Punjab Kings) is 10 runs away from 3000 runs in T20 cricket (overall).
► Shikhar Dhawan (Punjab Kings) is 2 fours away from becoming the first player to hit 750 fours in IPL. He is also 3 sixes away from 150 sixes in IPL.
